I have no idea why people still suggest that in 2013. It's terrible. It's not even the same "Hostgator" anymore, not since summer 2012, and is nothing more than an EIG brand now. 
There are better hosts.

Also, beware of bogus "top 10" lists that only recommend EIG brands.

Immer wieder das Gleiche! Erst kann nicht schnell genug ein Link in einem Verzeichnis freigeschaltet bekommen und das macht man dann gleich in hunderten Verzeichnissen und wenn man dann von Google erwischt wird, dann droht man den Webseitenbetreibern, die man voll gespammt hat. Wie immer, pech gehabt, der Link bleibt!

Massive Probleme nach dem Hostgator "brand new powerful hardware" Upgrade

Ich ahne fürchterliches, denn Hostgator macht mal wieder einen Update. Nach dem letzten Update haben sie meinen personal Account nach einer Woche gesperrt, weil ich angeblich zuviel Resourcen verbrauche und das gerade einem mit einem Blog. Jetzt wird es Zeit wieder einen anderen Hoster zu suchen!!! Hostgator ist meiner Meinung nach wirklich nicht mehr zu empfehlen.
